Person of the Year for Time Magazine,

Kobe Bryant.

The loss of Kobe Bryant was mournful. The design concept is to capture Kobe's legendary essence by use of the team's theme colors (purple & yellow) and his iconic expression. The gradation of the background gives the entire composition a dreamy and surreal visual effect. A dynamic diagonal recession into space helps create a spatial relationship and leads the viewer's eyes from right to left.
